I’m increasingly annoyed about the nonsensical post-game/post-mortem assessments of the big game that happened on presidential Election Day.
As a life-long member of two demographics groups that Republicans clearly hate — Black; Gay — I knew that the election could have far-reaching consequences for those who are in my “Groups” and in other groups. I was humanly conscious enough to know that the outcome could adversely impact more people/groups than my own, so I made calls and wrote and rebutted and so on.
No matter the election outcome, I was still going to be in America. And no matter the outcome, the winners and losers would still be the people that they were BEFORE the election. So, how does one think that a person with the track record of a multiply convicted felon, libel sexual abuser (or rapist, according to legal semantics), with disinformation stats that eclipse the stats of any previous office holder. would be qualified to run a nation, let alone be employed by any credible corporation or institution?
GOP & MAGA may take victory laps around the political field, starting January 3rd plan to sing Lee Greenwood’s All-American song (also offered to Canada for a fee) at the inauguration. Clear facts didn’t matter, MAGA elected the FOE (Friend of Epstein).
How foggy are you?
The sunshine state is a training field for the GOP, Peoject 2025 and questionable policies and practices. As the party takes political laps, they expect the American people-not hypnotized by MAGA lunacy-to have memory lapse. Ex-congressman Gaetz suddenly became an ex-nominee for DOJ (which should have been investigating him in the first place). The lil, “christian” House majority leader, Mike Johnson pulled some partisan, procedural hanky-panky, to keep the Gaetz investigation about under-aged and other sexual shenanigans locked away — like he’s a juvenile defender. But, that shouldn’t erase the increasing number of allegations against him. How many American accusers/victims are being denied justice?
How many victims are being silenced because they live in a nation that rewards sex abusers?
Gaetz is a rich example of Florida Republicans & the Grossly Obscene Power-grabbers (GOP), which is led by some freaky folk. They act above the law. If they face allegations, the playbook = Lie, Deny, Ignore them away. Remember, the Florida GOP leader was in some three-in-a-jacuzzi-hot-water, over he and his Moms for Liberty (the group fighting on school boards for our kids “morality”, by banning books) co-founder wife, over their “consenting adults infidelity”. Those Moms For Liberty banned books for much milder storylines. “But, kids read it”, you say? Well, kids read an hear the news, too. Republicans and their evangelical cheerleaders have normalized the lascivious.
Alex Wagner warned that this was the new GOP standard. And millions approve. Even the faith folk, including MAGA trumpian pastor/advisors and Mega-Gateway Church, TPUSA approves, too. The GOPerv birds of a feather flocking together is next level political amorality.
And it helps to have Fox News, Breitbart, Twitter, and other media to make facts the enemy. Worse, once reputable news outlets have joined the disinformation/obfuscation party. They don’t ask the hard questions. They don’t tell the truth. And MAGA, and their power-hungry manipulators are OK with it.
Sycophant SD Governor Kristi Noem; nominee for Homeland security; might be considered a security for being easy to compromise if her antics weren’t already in public media. What else is she hiding-like her trumpian candidate cohort?
Our memories aren’t so fogged that the freedom of the Freedom Caucus was to celebrate the freedom to let your freak flag fly — as long as you aren’t caught and their are no witnessss (RIP Jeffrey Epstein). But you defend this, ask Pete Hegseth or Boris Epshteyn, who orchestrated the disinformation & juggled his dysfunction. And did all of the intentional GOP distraction keep you from seeing the conservative Christian CPAC leader shenanigans? Is a $480,000.00 settlement the standard price for a married man’s unsolicited crotch grab? These Republican Christian “moral standard-bearers” continue to do what they FEEL, not say-literally. But, as Melania suggests, “boys will be boys.”
The still convict was well funded in his quest to Make America GRIMY Again — look at the musty compound with multiple kids and sister-baby-mommas.
Excluding the smoke from the Canadian and U.S. fires, when was the last time your community had smog alerts? The memory fades, so many have forgotten (or never learned) about collective numicipality and regulatory victories that curbed the pollutants that choked our skies & lungs — Literally. But, those days are gone. A coal, oil, gas man is nominated to re-pollute for profit. EPA will append its mission to End Protecting America’s Air. And, then they get to turn our air defenses against the democracy.
So, it seems fitting that the incoming administration that wants to Make AirPollution Gag Again, would Make America Gutter Approved. Begone fake GOP moral majority, the Amoral Minority is in charge. Republicans and their evangelical fanboys have been condemning Hollywood, while hosting freedom Caucus freak-offs for a long time. GOP blamed LGBTQIA+ & liberals with alt-fact messaging and the hypocritical morality police. Yep, folk were so fooled that GOP amoral exploits are the new — and acceptable-norms. Presidential. Electable. Admirable attributes of appointees, even.
So, elevating those with ethical lapses & MORAL absence becomes the standard. And, the plans work-for the foggy minded. And, their church approves. Next up, Project 2025!
