When a Barker Speaks…
A carnival barker (as called by those who know him better than you or I-and/or know game when they see game) know how to use smoke/mirrors & pawns to push their message through. To have the honor to participate in most any inauguration would be amazing in most every circumstance. But, I’m reminded of the diverse lives of those who have been so offended by the barkers words, actions and affiliations, they reject any action that gives any semblance of endorsing hate against humanity of any kind. Bravo for conscious people who say no — and won’t sell themselves and values for a few moments in the spotlight.
The less-informed — and manipulated — won’t see the truth. They will call any protest unpatriotic, although that’s what makes our country great and sets it apart from others. But in one ring of this circus, bigotry and other isms & phobias are allowed. Now, the land of the free and home of the brace is globally affiliated with intolerance and discrimination (again). Those labels represent some of the most unpatriotic acts this nation has seen in decades. Many — in fact, the majority — of voters know better and are better than that.
Talk race & faith for a moment — because it drives all of it. The current administration has been labeled as being anti-Jewish/Israel, by people who have no clue about the truth, but, are quick to hang on the barker’s words. A number of people take issue with the situation in Israel, but some quickly pick uninformed sides, instead of putting yourself in the shoes of occupied people. So, as the second ring wants to play with freedoms in another land and seeks to interrupt any opportunities for a two-state solution. Don’t hang on a barkers words — learn, folks, but, you need to take courses beyond propaganda echo chambers. http://truah.org/13-issuescampaigns/supportpeace/805-t-ruah-statement-on-un-security-council-resolution.html
And in the third ring of this political circus, the barker promoted one of his biggest construction plan — a border wall that would be built by Mexico! He shouted it to the big tent rooftop. He ginned up his followers, who agreed that Mexico would pay for it. He left his tent and even went to Mexico, where he, conveniently, forgot to discuss it. Then he returned to the tent to insist that he would pay for it. But, maybe the barker can craft his first executive order, which adds a wonderful “infrastructure building clause” (aka build a wall). https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.cnn.com/cnn/2017/01/05/politics/border-wall-house-republicans-donald-trump-taxpayers/index.html?client=safari
This circus has many rings, so beware of what’s yelled (or tweeted). What’s done when the lights are low, cameras are off and behind closed doors is where the real show can be found.
