Thoughts on Clubhouse’s Fade to the back…

I’m agnostic about these things - no fan of TikTok and was skeptical of FB, early on. It’s all good/evil, depending upon the user. bottom line is a few people have made BILLIONS of dollars off of everyday citizens, who click & like and engage and make OTHERS very rich off of our eyeballs and thumbs. If time is money, we should do this calculation: Amount we get paid (or value ourselves) per hour of work X the amount of time we give to social media per day/week/month. That is how much we are donating to the creators of these tools, who sell our "investment" for profit. Some may just enjoy the benefit of the networking. Others see it as mindless fun. A few have found profit from the time investment, too. But, at least with Elon Musk, you can get a vehicle with your investment. https://www.socialmediatoday.com/news/twitter-continues-to-quickly-evolve-its-clubhouse-competitor-spaces/595169/ Clubhouse might be replaced by Twitter’s Spaces, which will be replaced by the ingenuity developed by the next billionaire-to-be. hmmm, I think I will make this part of a Medium post ;-).

Take 2 to 5 minutes for a glimpse of what I think about issues of the day. Nonpartisan, yet, some might not agree. Just don’t be disagreeable. TW: @congosdad
