Birds of a Feather Vote Together
#RoyMoore represents the worst of political systems — patriarchy; arrogance; bias; loyalty to party over common good. Before his sexual abuse gained the attention of the media & the public that finds his antics disgusting, Moore was already unqualified & unfit for public (or private) office.
To see how some Alabama voters accept Moore — believing him over five (5) women who have accused him of sexual abuse — demonstrates how voters supported #45.
America must wake up. #RoyMoore has been politically unethical for years, but leaned on the Bible to defend/protect his brand of politics. He’s been supported by dozens of politicians and #TheWhiteHouse — with its own scandals. People are/were willing to stand by their man, and refute women speaking their truths once again. Other men have dismissed or defended it — is it status quo for them?
Oh, it’s OK when you get a moms permission? This isn’t asking for a hand in marriage — and moms aren’t saying OK to sexual assaults and molesting the underaged. Comparing Mary & Joseph to Roy Moore (and, likely, other members of the political boys club) is sick, blasphemous and an insult to common decency — and common sense.
Where are your moral & human values when you are willing to vote for someone accused of attacking teen girls? How is Roy Moore elected to, hired by, endorses by anyone — HE WAS BANNED FROM A MALL FOR HIS PERVERSION! And people of Alabama and Capitol Hill still endorse him?!? This man was BANNED from a mall for harassing people, and folks still trying to tout his Christianity and viability as a candidate. How do you vote for & endorse someone who isn’t even welcome in a local mall because of his penchant for young girls, but you want to instill fear with laws that perpetuate a false threat against transgender women in bathrooms?
Even with facts (the receipts) that verify his words are a lie aren’t enough to convince some voters to take a moral high ground. And there are pastors who support him, too? The permissiveness of perversion by Republiteas (except for when they can accuse their political opponents of something) is reprehensible. Do as they say, not as they do. politicians (and their voters) are morally and philosophically bankrupt. It makes America (and the world) worse, not great.
