An ATL story

#myATLstory — I chose “pool”, and won a ride with a driver (safely) watching a paternity courtroom show on her other phone. Me & my two fellow passengers joined in the debate on the paternity of the little girl (the mother vs the mom of the deceased, alleged father).

We also got into a, “how old are you?” game, somehow. We took a pause in the debate when we arrived at the first stop — a hospital emergency room for one of the passengers (boys night out injury, the night before — the pain from having his foot run over became unbearable the next day!). I got dropped at MARTA (the @highmuseumofart exhibit featuring the work of @Tommiesmith18 & @gkstudio that I wanted to visit was closed).

My #UberJurist dropped me at #MARTA, where I encountered this colorful outdoor piano. I sat in the orange chair to locate my MARTA card. It was worthless, I discovered, since they introduced new cards last year. Sitting there, I wondered if people just randomly played the piano — my skills are nil even after taking lessons a lifetime ago.

As I walked away, Reuben showed up. Yes, folks do play. I went back to check him out. Self-taught.

It was a good day for random experiences.
